We have been bad about posting lately, but not much has changed here on 4th Street

I know you are, but what am I

Pee Wee enjoys the view onto 4th Street.  The workday is over and it's time to transition from the office to home.  Usually we attempt to leave the building and upon re-entry, after a walk in the neighborhood with Roxy, a trip to the park or the corner tavern, we do our best to hang our hat and call it home.   It's not always easy when the office and the kitchen/living space are virtually one but we are learning.  Can the scent of something simmering be far behind?

So...one of the first things we promised ourselves when we created this space was that we would make it a place where we would do things we feel passionate about : photography, painting, cooking, eating, entertaining.   Our hope is to create a salon environment where artists can show their work...but I am getting ahead of myself. We just got here.

Loft Living in the Southwest

It's been years in the making. A long time dream, a long time fear of ours. Living and working out of the same space...together. We finally sold our apartment of 22 years, took 22 years worth of stuff and moved it in with 30 years worth of stuff. After a good deal of purging (not nearly enough) we are here.
